Former KTR Capital VP Scott Whittle Joins as Director of Financings,
New Associates Build Acquisitions and Asset Management Teams
August 12, 2015 – Philadelphia – Rubenstein Partners, L.P., a vertically integrated real estate investment manager specializing in value-added office property opportunities in the Eastern half of the United States, announced today several new hires to support the firm’s continued growth. David Rubenstein, Founder and Senior Managing Partner of Rubenstein Partners, made the announcement.

Scott Whittle joins Rubenstein Partners as Director of Financings, responsible for working with lending institutions and similar capital providers, procuring new debt at both the property and fund level and managing debt across the portfolio in each Fund.
Prior to joining Rubenstein Partners, Scott worked as a Vice President of Finance for KTR Capital Partners, an investor in industrial real estate, where he was responsible for debt originations, debt portfolio management and cash management of the funds. The debt portfolio at KTR Capital Partners reached over $3.0 billion in total commitments and included portfolio financings, subscription facilities, fund level unsecured debt, build-to-suit and other construction loans as well as CMBS loan assumptions. Prior to KTR Capital Partners, Scott was a Senior Associate with LBC Credit Partners, a private equity firm focused on lending to middle market companies across the United States. Scott started his career with Standard & Poor’s CVC, subsequently sold to Duff & Phelps LLC, focused on business valuation financial advisory.
Scott graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and International Business.
Jonathan Jacobs joins Rubenstein Partners as an Asset Management Associate. Jon spent the previous 3.5 years as an Associate in the Asset Management Group at KTR Capital Partners, a real estate private equity firm specializing in industrial real estate across the continental United States. At KTR, Jon’s role centered on portfolio asset management, where he managed the quarterly and annual valuation process of the 300+ asset investment portfolio. Additionally, Jon’s responsibilities included disposition analyses, quarterly performance assessment, and various analytics and financial modeling for the $6 billion of assets under management. Jon previously worked as a Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers in its Real Estate Business Advisory Services group, where his responsibilities included valuations, valuation review, and investment and financial due diligence across a variety of investment managers and all real estate asset classes. Jon graduated in 2007 from the Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science in Finance.
Conor Brennan joins Rubenstein Partners as an Acquisitions Associate. Prior to joining the firm, Conor was a member of KPMG’s Economic & Valuation Services practice where he provided financial analysis and consulting services to commercial real estate clients across the United States. He holds a BBA in Finance from the University of Notre Dame and a MBA from Harvard Business School.
